List of Web of Science Indexed Journals Updated: two new medical SCI journals were added, and one was removed!

According to the latest data of Clarivate, there were 6 medicine-related journals altered in the list of Web of Science (WOS) indexed journals updated in December, 2023, among which one SCI journal was removed and 2 ESCI journals advanced to SCI journals. In addition, 3 SCI journals have changed their titles.

There were 9484 journals in the list of SCIE indexed journals updated, and 3552 journals in list of SSCI indexed journals. Among the 6 altered journals, the journal Analytical and Quantitative Cytopathology and Histopathology was removed from list of SCIE indexed journals due to no publication of new articles in two years. Besides, The Lancet Regional Health-Europe advanced to SCI and SSCI dual-retrieval journal with impact factor (IF) of 20.9, and Nature-Aging advanced to SCI journal with IF of 16.6. Meanwhile, other 2 oncology-related SCI journals and one medical SCI journal changed their titles. The specific changes are as follows:

The Lancet Regional Health-Europe promotes the advancement of clinical practice and health policy in Europe with the goal of improving health outcomes for all people globally. In Journal Citation Reports (JCR) published this year, this journal was included as ESCI journal and obtained the IF of 20.9.

2. Nature Aging

Molecular Therapy-Nucleic Acids renamed as Molecular Therapy Nucleic Acids, whose ISSN is 2162-2531 and publisher is CELL PRESS.

Molecular Therapy-Methods & Clinical Development renamed as Molecular Therapy Methods & Clinical Development, whose EISSN is 2329-0501 and publisher is CELL PRESS.
